Diglosia: Jurnal Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya https://diglosiaunmul.com/index.php/diglosia <p align="justify"><strong>DIGLOSIA: Jurnal Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya</strong> is a scientific journal and high-quality open-access peer-reviewed containing the results of language, literature, and their teaching research. <strong>DIGLOSIA: Jurnal Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya</strong> was first published in Samarinda in 2018 by the Master Program of Indonesian Language and Literature Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Mulawarman.</p> <p align="justify">Published three times a year: February, June, and October. Manuscript submissions are open throughout the year, but before submitting, make sure that the manuscript is in Indonesian and follows the focus and scope and the author's guidelines. The prerequisites, standards, and format of the manuscript are listed in the author's guidelines and templates. <strong>DIGLOSIA: Jurnal Kajian Bahasa, Sastra, dan Pengajarannya</strong>&nbsp;accepts submissions of original articles that have not been published elsewhere or considered or processed for publication anywhere and demonstrate no plagiarism whatsoever. This study aimed to describe the problem of terms, especially their relationship with the culture of the speakers in the chanoyu procession. This research was a qualitative descriptive study. The approach used was an ethnolinguistic approach. The result of this research showed that the tea ceremony has become an important part of Japanese culture. The terms found in the procession indicate that the guest and the host respect each other and give meaning to the journey of life</em><em>.</em><em> The use of terms in the lexicon in the tools used is also seen in terms of form, its manufacture and use creates perfect harmony in the chanoyu process.</em></p> Irzam Sarif S. Functional Systemic Linguistic (FSL) theory is used as an analytical tool. The data were collected through document recording with a qualitative descriptive method through the trial process from YouTube. The results of the trial process were transcribed into written data in the form of text. The data were analyzed in stages, namely, (1) classification of judicial text based on the content of the text; (2) text characteristics; (3) analysis using the LSF model. The results showed that the material process was obtained as much as 5,822 (45%) as the first order. The second place is occupied by mental processes obtained as much as 2,064 (15%). The third place is occupied by the forming process, obtained as much as 1,616 (11%). Based on the results of this study, the actions and deeds of the perpetrator were realized through the transitivity of Jessica-Mirna's judicial texts.</em></p> Nidya Fitri Ketut Artawa Made Sri Satyawati Sawirman Sawirman Copyright (c) 2021-06-01 2021-06-01 4 2 139 148 10.30872/diglosia.v4i2.116 Doksa Penerbit Kristal Multimedia dalam Menerbitkan Ulang Buku-Buku Kaba https://diglosiaunmul.com/index.php/diglosia/article/view/179 <p><em>The republishing activities of Kaba books carried out by the publisher Kristal Multimedia cannot be separated from the publisher Pustaka Indonesia, one of the earliest publishers managed by local communities in Bukittinggi during the Dutch colonial administration. Sixteen of the eighteen Kaba books that were printed were republished from the publisher Pustaka Indonesia. This research uses the republishing of Kaba books by Kristal Multimedia publisher as its material object. The formal object is doxa which the publisher of Kristal Multimedia expresses. The purpose of this study is to determine the background that causes the publishers of Kristal Multimedia to continue operating and is serious about republishing Kaba books. The research method used is qualitative research methods with interview data collection techniques and the use of documents. The theory used in this research is the arena of cultural production proposed by Pierre Bourdieu, focus the discussion of doxa, heterodoxa and orthodoxa. Doxa expressed by Kristal Multimedia publisher is heterodoxa, contradicting the doksa expressed by the publisher Pustaka Indonesia as a publisher that also produces school and religious textbooks. Comparative literature is a mandatory course in the Indonesian language and literature study program in most Indonesian universities. There are at least six books used as common references in teaching comparative literature in Indonesia. However, these books have not covered recent development in comparative literature, especially the emergence of Chinese school and some new directions within comparative literature. This literature review article collects references from selective authoritative sources on the internet to describe the historical development of comparative literature and its current issues. This article shows that the expansions in comparative literature are intricate with deconstruction and reconstruction of world literature, dialogue and the meeting between West and East, and the presence of the digital age. Ajisaka is a Javanese figure whom the Javanese people consider as the originator of Javanese script. One of the recorded of the story of Ajisaka was the Serat Ajisaka written by J. Kats using Javanese script. Serat Ajisaka is one of the stories from a collection of stories in the book entitled Serat Jawi Tanpa Sekar written by J. Kats, a Dutch writer in 1942. This research aims to describe the cultural values </em><em>​​</em><em>in Serat Ajisaka by J. Kats in 1942 using philology studies. This research uses the descriptive method conducted in three stages, the first stage transcribing data, the second stage transliterating Latin script containing Javanese into Indonesian, then analyzing the cultural value in Serat Ajisaka. The method used in this study is the descriptive analysis method. The theory used in this study is the theory of New Historicism by Stephen Greenbalt. The results show, there are five historical facts, the establishment of tonarigumi, the creation of the tatemono sokai policy, the air attack on Kure, the attack on the Hiro Naval Base, and the dropping of Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima, which also affected Kure area which is 20 kilometres to southeast Hiroshima. In addition, as a result of the occurrence of World War II, the mindset of the Japanese people regarding war changed from those previously zealous in warfare to preferring to maintain peace. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that contain the value of character education in the legend of Buka Luwur the Origin of Dukuh Pantaran. Data sources consist of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, recording, recording, and document analysis techniques. The data validation used source triangulation. Data analysis techniques with interactive models. The results of this research are (1) the legend of Buka Luwur The origin of the Pantaran Hamlet is a type of folklore legend because it tells the origin of the name Dukuh Pantaran; and (2) the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran contain fourteen values </em><em>​​</em><em>of character education, namely: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, love, peaceful, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. This study aims (1) to find out the process of developing teaching materials in writing descriptions by using the Circuit Learning model (2) to measure the quality of teaching materials writing descriptions using circuit learning methods assessed from the validity and effectiveness. This study applies research and development methods conducted at Nabil Husen Middle School Samarinda. The results of development research can be seen from the validation results, namely material validation with a value of 88, graphic validation with a value of 86 and a validation of language values ​​with a value of 97 with very valid criteria. The effectiveness test results seen from the implementation of the lesson plan, the teacher's response value 93, the students' response value 93 and the value of the description writing test results obtained an average value of 88 with very effective criteria. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews and observations. The research subjects were English teachers and deputy principals of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta. The results of the study are as follows. First, English education planning is prepared based on subjects, competency standards, basic competencies, learning objectives, teaching modules, procedures, time allocation, learning activities, learning resources/equipment, and evaluation of distance education students' learning outcomes during the Covid- 19. Second, the implementation of education that the teacher is trying has been guided by the latest updated syllabus and online learning implementation plan. English teachers have practised innovative education during the Covid-19 pandemic, such as Google Classroom, Zoom, WhatsApp, and many more. Distance learning that the teacher applies is to open lessons, deliver modules or teaching materials two days before learning activities occur, and discuss learning with students where learning is student-centred. The educational process places more emphasis on the cognitive and psychomotor domains. Third, learning assessment uses pre-test and post-test when online education takes place. The evaluation method used in learning applies direct observation, carries out tests/exercises at the end of the lesson so that the teacher knows the weaknesses and measurements of each student. Learning support facilities at Muhammadiyah 3 High School Yogyakarta are equipped with a language laboratory to facilitate the implementation of learning English more effectively. </em></p> Mashuri Mashuri Enung Hasanah Copyright (c) 2021-06-01 2021-06-01 4 2 227 234 10.30872/diglosia.v4i2.174 Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Menulis Cerita Pendek dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual Berbasis Kearifan Lokal pada Siswa Kelas XI SMK https://diglosiaunmul.com/index.php/diglosia/article/view/98 <p><em>This research aims to produce teaching materials, describing the feasibility and effectiveness of teaching materials writing short stories with a contextual approach based on local wisdom in XI grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bangun. This research is a model of research and development. The data sources in this study are obtained from the development, implementation of learning, quality of products of development results, material development process, and material preparation. Data analysis techniques include measuring student writing test results, student response measurement, validation and planning assessment. This research resulted in teaching materials to write short stories with a contextual approach based on local wisdom for vocational class XI students. The feasibility of teaching materials is obtained from validation results by language experts (93.75%). The media experts (88%) category is very feasible with ready-to-use product decisions in the field without revision. The effectiveness of teaching materials can be seen from the results of the observer assessment, which is 3.65 classified very well. Furthermore, the teacher response calculation was 96.73%, and the student response was obtained at 88.94%, classified as very feasible with ready-to-use product decisions in the field without revision. The short story writing test results yielded an average score of 85.9%, included in the excellent category. Test results write short stories on background aspects (100%), themes (97.5%) and language usage (90.83%) fall into the category very well. Thus, teaching books writing short stories with a contextual approach based on local wisdom can be used in the learning process for vocational students in XI grade.</em></p> Arif Mazhuri Saputro M.
