Fungsi dan bentuk metafora pada Patu Mbojo The function and form of metaphors in “Patu Mbojo”

Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis metafora konseptual pada Patu Mbojo. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik baca dan catat. Teknik baca dilakukan untuk menemukan data-data metafora konseptual pada patu Mbojo. Kemudian teknik catat yaitu mencatat data yang diperoleh dari hasil membaca. Data penelitian diperoleh dari buku Patu Mbojo: Struktur, Konsep Pertunjukan, Proses Penciptaan, dan Fungsi karya Ahmad Badrun. Proses analisis data terdiri dari tiga tahap: reduksi data, penyajian dan analisis data, serta penarikan simpulan. Metafora konseptual mengungkap tiga jenis utama dalam Patu Mbojo: struktural, orientasional, dan ontologis. Metafora ini memanfaatkan alam, tubuh manusia, dan pengalaman sehari-hari untuk menggambarkan konsep abstrak. Selain estetika, metafora juga menghubungkan masa lalu, kini, dan masa depan, sekaligus menjadi wadah nilai-nilai moral dan edukasi masyarakat Bima-Dompu. Dengan demikian, Patu Mbojo tidak hanya karya sastra, tetapi juga cerminan cara berpikir, nilai, dan kearifan lokal masyarakat.
